Squires Gate Airport - Park & Ride

A sign of things to come or signs of the times. The public entrance to Squires Gate Airport off Squires Gate Lane is now festooned with bright yellow cautionary signs indicating the availability of a Park & Ride facility for private vehicles arriving in the resort. A joint venture between Blackpool Council with BTS and the Airport operating company ahead of the 'Lights' switch on is something of a test case for future P&R options which BTS with Local Authorities are no doubt looking at.
