Promenade Trams To Fleetwood

A large fire totally consumed a promenade hotel near to the Cabin at the weekend. Fortunately the efforts of the Fire Brigades with multiple appliances prevented the spread of flames onto adjoining hotels but left a very unsafe structure completely gutted internally, The structural walls remained intact except for the roof and this has rendered the building unsafe and in danger of collapse.

It is not clear at this time when demolition of the building will begin. Update 26 April : BTS are now operating tram service along the promenade albeit with some delays according to their website,
