Going Going ......

Interest in the Trust's trams is now bearing fruit with at least one car scheduled to be transferred to yet another Fylde coast school - in this case Rossall. Confirmation and dates for the tram's change of location should be agreed over the next few weeks.

A further meeting onsite at Wyre Dock in the past few days looks like at least two more trams and possibly three will be acquired for a special project on the Fylde coast - details of which are confidential at this time. Another potential project on the other side of the country awaits planning approval from a local authority. Centenary Car 641 may remain in Fleetwood subject to similar agreement now pending. Brush Car 290 is yet to be rehoused and the FHLT are looking at options for this tram at the present time. There is still a strong desire to see the car sited within the new Blackpool North tram terminus as a special display feature.

We are confident that all of the FHLT collection will become unique exhibits after receiving extended tlc from their new owners - following their outdoor exposure at Wyre Dock (below).
