Darwen streamliner built in Preston at the Blackburn Boulevard terminus of this 4 ft gauge line linking the two towns. One of two examples delivered to Darwen and the only 'narrow' gauge cars of this type. Numbers 23 and 24 both were sold on to Llandudno & Colwyn Bay operation in 1946 where they continued in service until the demise of that North Wales coastal tramway a decade later. Neither car survived.
