Track Laying - Talbot Road

Track relaying on Talbot Road is nothing new. The last time this took place was during the 1930s and the track featured in the image above is now being uncovered as the contractors continues its progress towards the junction with Dickson Road. North Station clock affixed to the station wall is visible providing helpful timekeeping for travellers heading to their train home from the seaside. A Layton tram then terminating at Caunce Street can just be seen before heading back on its shuttle run to the Cemetery Gates.
