Rigby Road Publishing - Update

By way of advance notification we wish to advise that sales of our two titles - 'Municipal Transport Rationalisation' covering the 1960s and 'Municipal Transport Heyday' dealing with the 1950s are now limited to a small number of copies still in stock. If any reader is mulling? over purchase of either copy we recommend they confirm their purchase within September.

The 2021 Heritage Calendar will be published later this year featuring Blackpool Corporation and Blackpool Transport Services buses through the past 100 years. The souvenir book on Blackpool's Bus Centenary will be published summer 2021 with details of its availability and price being advised early 2021.

Due to the Covid 19 virus - there are understandable delays to our normal service but we are shipping out books promptly on receipt of paid orders - ideally online through this website shop page. Copies of our books can also be purchased at Brooks Collectables Shop on the Promenade at Waterloo Road if you are visiting the resort. Blackpool Transport's Information Point on Market Street also stocks our titles but its opening is currently restricted - as is the Toys2Save shop in Cleveleys opposite the Cleveleys Tram Station. Finally - Blackpool's Visitor Centre and its information desk on the Promenade by North Pier also stocks most of our current titles with ever friendly helpful staff on hand.

We will be starting work on a further Municipal Transport title - this time covering the 1920s for publication in 2022.
