Anything Manchester does - we can do better OR Unlucky for so

Obviously it has to be a taxi driver pushing his luck against the bulk of a Blackpool tram. Measurements of the incident are being recorded which would seem to be more of a minor scrape than anything else. No doubt service was significantly disrupted in the aftermath of this particular collision which occurred around lunchtime today.

Not quite as spectacular as the rash of car versus tram contests in Manchester but its another one for the incident records. The worst of these usually takes place at Cleveleys Victoria Square junction or the Rossall Square intersection which is particularly difficult for tram drivers as garden fencing and hedges bar forward vision of the road approach. For the afficianados - this is tram number 13 now requiring replacement of at least two panels from the Bombardier spare parts stock.
