SATURDAY 18 JULY - MOURNERS ALERT

Those enthusiasts who have confirmed their attendance at the Trust's Fleetwood 'graveyard' are invited to meet at 1230 at the Three Lights (Marstons) venue which is located on Amounderness Way just before the security entrance to the Wyre Dock site. For those unfamiliar with this location (no public transport link) other than the 14 and 1 bus service terminus at Freeport Fleetwood - is the closest stop. BTS will advise tram stop nearest to Fisherman's Friend and short walk to Amounderness Way crossing over at the Wyre Dock roundabout (care should be taken due to traffic at this point). The Three Lights has a car park and local taxis from Asda Fleetwood or Lord Street will be easily obtainable.

Initial contributors as 'Friends of Fleetwood Trams' when the Trust's work was launched are equally invited but numbers are limited on site - so your confirmation of attending at 1230 is appreciated and subject to our confirmation.

Two hours from 1230 will be assigned for mourners to pay their respects to long departed numbers! All Mourners are requested to wear an item of black apparal and photos will be taken at the graveside of old friends. Please no flowers!
