GREY ALL OVER

Art following the market ? In the same week as Blackpool Transport launched its fleet of new single deck buses branded in a shade of grey 'palladium' the FHLT launched the new look Centenary car 641 ! Well not quite.

Work has started on providing 641 with its own branding celebrating the history of Blackpool Football Club. A first step has been giving the tram's exterior an initial undercoat and the bogie frames with matching attention.

Looking a lot smarter than the dirt caked version which resulted from years of service and diminishing attention - the prototype bogie set under 641 delivered to Blackpool Transport thirty one years ago.
