641 DEBUTS AT 8 GOAL THRILLER

The formal launch of Centenary Tram 641 at Bloomfield Road on Saturday was marked by an eight goal scoreline between Nottingham Forest and Blackpool. Special banners of 641 were on display for fans whilst the match programme carried a two page spread on the tram's new role for the 2015 Illuminations.

An appreciative audience were treated to a thrilling display on the pitch during the second half after Blackpool's first half lead. Despite being two men down the Seasiders managed to regain a point following a waht looked like a late winner for Forest - with Blackpool's final goal coming in the 7th minute of extra time making it 4-4.

Whilst the team continue to stay at the bottom of the Championship - the display at Bloomfield Road on Valentine's Day created a real thriller for fans of both sides. On this performance Blackpool deserve to be celebrated on the pitch and on the tram. The first names to go on the sides of the tram display were received at the Match – during what turned out to be a memorable game.
